What a weekend in Manchester! The first weekend in February saw teams from across our practices in the north west descend on the Trafford Centre in Manchester for our high tech and ambitious scanning event. Using digital scanning equipment in bespoke scanning pods, we hosted the event in Manchester to offer prospective patients an opportunity to see the smile of their dreams in a fully CQC registered mobile scanning clinic.
Patients were invited beforehand and, on the day, to receive a free digital scan to see how their teeth would look if they were to undergo teeth straightening using Invisalign clear aligners. It was a fantastic event and the buzz surrounding our mobile scanning pop-up was evident for all to see with just under 50 scans taking place over the two days.
It was a phenomenal effort from all involved and we were lucky to have five clinicians from four Portman Clear Brace Group practices across the weekend providing the scans – namely Michael Cahill and Elgan Rees from Cahill Dental & Implant Clinic; Adey Bennett from Apollonia Dental & Healthcare; Helen Clay from Laburnum Dental Care and John Mantel from 32 Whites Dental & Implant Clinic – alongside many more brilliant practice and support colleagues drumming up interest in the event and looking after patients on the day.
