More than five million patients have been treated with Invisalign.

The Portman Clear Brace Group is one of the largest Invisalign providers in the UK and currently includes nearly 30 dental practices across the country.

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment that uses a series of clear braces, known as aligners. These aligners are created specifically for your teeth, with each set gradually moving your teeth into the desired position, perfecting your smile.

Invisalign has been known to correct a number of dental problems from under and overbites to overcrowded teeth.

Your Invisalign® clear aligners are custom-made for you. The aligners are virtually invisible and fit snugly over your teeth.

Each aligner shifts your teeth slightly, moving them horizontally and vertically and even rotating them when needed. Your aligners are engineered to use the right amount of force in the right place at the right time.

The Portman Clear Brace Group

The Portman Clear Brace Group comprises of more than 30 Invisalign providers located across the UK. Each Invisalign provider has many years experience treating patients with this comfortable, virtually invisible aligner system.

All our providers have access to the latest clinical developments and innovations as well as training support and advice ensuring the treatment we provide is always the most advanced. The group is led and mentored by Dr Graham Tinkler, one of the only 6 dentist's in Europe to have performed over 2500 Invisalign cases.

Each of our Invisalign providers are passionate about helping you create your perfect smile and to date, no other group in the country has successfully completed as many cases!

Invisalign Treatment Process

The Invisalign treatment process time can vary depending on how serious the case is. Once you have had a consultation, x-rays, photographs, bite registration and impressions will be taken of your teeth ready for the aligners to be made. After Invisalign makes your aligners, your treatment will begin where you will change your aligners every two weeks.

Aligners are made from an elastic thermoplastic material that applies pressure to the teeth to move them into place. You could have between 6 and 40 aligners made for your Invisalign treatment.

Invisalign is a comfortable and confidence boosting alternative to traditional metal braces. They are also more convenient as you are able to remove them while eating and drinking.

" I really admire the less invasive approach to tooth straightening offered by Invisalign treatment and it was one of the reasons I opted for it", said Mr. Webb. "Dr. Tinkler showed me a computer simulation of my tooth movements with Invisalign clear aligners and we discussed various scenarios. I am blown away. I can't believe that something so thin and transparent has the capacity to move my teeth! "

Invisalign 0% Finance

The typical cost of Invisalign Treatment starts from £1995, with the end price depending on the severity and the length of treatment. You will notice that the advertised Invisalign cost varies between different practices. This is largely due to the level of experience of the dentist, but it is also important to check what is included in the treatment.

The Portman Clear Brace Group prefers to give their patients a fixed all-inclusive cost. Some dentists will not include things such as refinement/whitening gel/Vivera retainers. As an addition, another important item we like to include in our Invisalign package is any 'recontouring' of the edges of the teeth, which really helps with proportion and symmetry.

*Check with local practice if finance option is available.

There are currently nearly 30 practices throughout the U.K. to choose from.
